Nancy Jean Jackson Glenshaw Nancy Jean Jackson, age 62, of Glenshaw, Pa., died Monday, April 30, 2018, in Shadyside Hospital. She was born Dec. 26, 1955, to Wilma and the late Nick Yovich of Beaver Falls, Pa. A 1973 graduate of Beaver Falls High School, she attended Geneva College and earned a degree in elementary education. She dedicated her life to teaching small children, serving 19 years as a pre-school teacher at Kiddie Tech in Allison Park, Pa. In addition to her mother Wilma Jean Yovich, Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of forty years, Jerry Jackson, and her son who she adored, William Jackson. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Breckenridge; her husband's parents, Bill and Ilene Jackson; her sister-in-law, Sharon (Rusty) Russell; her nephew, Nick Breckenridge and his wife Angie and their four children; aunts, Marilyn Townsend, Karen Boyles and Peggy Pensy; uncle, Bob Boyles; her life-long best friend, Kim Carrick of Florida, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Nick Yovich, and her brother-in-law, Stanley Breckenridge. Nancy lived a rich, full life and enjoyed travel, the ocean, animals, and most of all, children. She leaves a legacy of several generations of young people who have benefitted from her care and guidance, and will remember her always.
