Husband turns out to be killer of his wife

Ludhiana(DP Correspondent) A day after the death of woman, the police have cracked the case with the arrest of husband of deceased. The Police claimed that husband of victim has killed her following a heated argument. The accused later concocted a story and told police that some persons with intention of robbery might had killed her wife. During the investigation the police have detained the husband of deceased who confessed the killing of his wife. The accused has been identified as Varinder Arora, accountant by profession.Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP Crime) Surinder Mohan said that on Tuesday Nidhi Arora (35) was found murdered in a house in Partap nagar in Jamalpur. The Police investigation found that the entry of accused in house was friendly which indicated that some known person has killed the victim. Moreover no cash and other items were missing from the house. While scanning the CCTV footage of cameras installed in the area and it was found that the accused had came to his house between 11 Am to 1 Pm. The parents of deceased also told Police about the strained relationship of victim and accused.ACP said that Nidhi was having two daughters after the marriage but her husband and inlaws desired to have son. Due to this reason Varinder clashed with her wife. The accused also recorded the false statement to police after the death, added ACP.Varinder Arora had told police that he was on his job while his two daughters Angel and Ananya were at School. The elder daughter of victim returned back at house and shocked to see the body of her mother. The mother of Varinder use to live in the house of her younger son.
