Traffic SP’s car breaks 1-way rule, fined

NOIDA: The SP (traffic)’s official vehicle was found violating the one-way rule at Udyog Marg on Monday, a day after the road safety week ended.
According to sources, one Narendra informed about the vehicle used by SP (traffic) travelling on Udyog Marg. It was coming from Sandeep Paper Mills around 1.30 pm and the driver was on the phone while driving. A challan for Rs 1,100 was issued against the constable driver Hariom who has been sent to police lines. “A challan was issued against Hariom and a report has been sent to senior officers against him,” SP (traffic) Anil Jha said.

Jha said the vehicle had been sent for servicing and was returning when the violation was committed. TNN
