FIFA 18 TOTW 33 update: Team of the Week reveal, predictions, TOTS Premier League news

FIFA 18 TOTW 33 is about to be revealed by EA Sports.

As part of the team of the week update, the 23 most in-form players will get a stats boost based on performances during this week's round of real life fixtures.

As usual, the FIFA Ultimate Team TOTW performers will be unveiled by EA Sports at 3pm UK time.

The TOTW 33 cards will then go live at 6pm, when Ultimate Team fans will able to unlock them in Gold, Silver or Bronze packs.

And if the predictions are true, Lionel Messi is likely to make the Team of the Week for the umpteenth time.

Messi helped Barcelona secure another La Liga titles with a hat-trick performance against Deportivo La Coruna.

Edin Dzeko is also set to star, after bagging a brace for Roma at the weekend.

The Team of the Week could be accompanied by the next TOTS reveal for the Premier League.

EA Sports has revealed the Team of the Season for the EFL and the FIFA Community.

FIFA fans voted for Giorgio Chiellini and Gerard Pique in defence, as well as Thomas Lemar in midfield and Jamie Vardy in attack.

Judging by the official Team of the Season page, the Premier League TOTS is next, so stay tuned for more information.

The news comes as EA Sports announces plans to release a free World Cup 2018 update for FIFA 18.

Available from May 29, the FIFA 18 World Cup expansion features all 32 teams, as well as new stadiums, match balls and even the official trophy.

As EA Sports points out, all of the new content will be rendered in the game's Frostbite Engine for the first time.

There's even a variety of new FIFA Ultimate Team cards, including legendary players and new items.
