Her love of food and entertaining became a central part of her life. From 4th of July parties, Mardi Gras bashes and wedding planning to her famous Irish soda bread, she had a way of making every event and holiday special for family and friends. Patty's keen sense of fashion and design was familiar to all who knew her, from sewing her own garments at a young age, to opening a local clothing shop in Beaver. From refurbishing antique furniture to creating custom linens and wreaths, her talents brightened homes and lives. Patty's warm and welcoming personality, along with her witty sense of humor, were among her many cherished qualities. She enjoyed current events and culture, including her daily newspapers, love of reading, book group, and theater with friends. Patty loved the town and people of Beaver, as exemplified by the many years she spent as a member of the board for the Women's Center of Beaver County. She also relished the opportunity to explore new places - from visiting her children in different cities, to hiking trips and international adventures with family and friends. Her passion for family and friends, her ability to make the most of time together, is an inspiration that will live on in all those who miss her so dearly.
