A total of ten people have been arrested on drug-related charges in Adam, Seeb and Nizwa, Royal Oman Police (ROP) said.
The Directorate General for the Control of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances arrested three people in Seeb, Al Mabela industrial area.
Two of the three belonged to Arab nationalities and were arrested on charges of possessing drugs for the purpose of trafficking and abuse. ROP said, “The three individuals had cannabis in their possession when they were arrested. Additionally, more of the drug was found in their homes.”
On the other hand, the Department of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, led by the police in A'Dhakiliyah, arrested seven people accused of possessing of narcotic drugs in the provinces of Nizwa and Adam.
"Cannabis and morphine were found in their possession," police said.
