All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

Senior JD(U) leader and former Bihar assembly speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary today resigned from the party.

He blamed the collapse of internal democracy within the party as one of the reasons for leaving JD(U).

Mr. Chaudhary said, he was hurt over Nitish Kumar led government's anti- Dalit approach.

When asked about his future plan, Mr. Chaudhary said, he won’t be joining any NDA party.
