NBCC shares gain 4% on order for construction of MGCC in African countries

The order to construct Mahatma Gandhi Convention Centres is worth Rs 2,000 crore.

NBCC share price rallied as much as 3.7 percent in morning on Wednesday on bagging order for construction of MGCC in African countries.

The state-owned construction company has received letter of appointment from Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India for the construction of Mahatma Gandhi Convention Centres (MGCC) in African countries.

Centres will be constructed in nine African Countries namely Niger, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Liberia, Gambia, Burkina Faso, Togo and Gabon.

The order to construct Mahatma Gandhi Convention Centres is worth Rs 2,000 crore.

At 09:48 hours IST, the stock price was quoting at Rs 108.20, up Rs 3.60 or 3.44 percent on the BSE.
