Bollywood choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan has fractured her leg and she tweeted about it Wednesday evening. Farah is reportedly choreographing the sangeet ceremony of Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor, who is getting married on May 8.

Posting a picture with a bandaged foot, Farah wrote on Twitter, “And @RajkummarRao can u send me the crutches back? n the ankle brace too..”

According to a Times of India report, Farah was shooting for a TV show at a Mumbai studio on Monday. Farah injured her leg while heading back to her vanity van on Tuesday morning around 3am. The report quoted a source as saying, “Farah had committed a time for the show and for the rehearsals. So, her hours got a little extended. She was rehearsing with some contestants till late on Monday night. It was in the wee hours of Tuesday when she was walking back to her van in a tired state when she injured her leg. She was immediately taken to a doctor and it turned out to be a fracture, following which she has now been advised bed rest and medication for a week, at least.”

The source also told the tabloid that Farah has already choreographed Sonam’s sangeet and all that is left is for the family to rehearse.

Farah also worked on the first song of Sonam’s Veere Di Wedding that was unveiled on Wednesday. Talking about the song that also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Farah had told IANS, “This is the second music video that I’m doing after Bluffmaster’s Ek main aur ek tu hain and I really think we have taken this one to the next level.”

“The concept of a gender swap really appealed to me. We made the boys the decorative pieces in the song with the girls being the heroes here. It was so much fun working with some truly empowered and enlightened women like Rhea, Ekta, Kareena, Sonam, Shikha and Swara,” she added.
