Dead in voters list: EC 'warns' collector of MP's Shivpuri

The (EC) has issued warning to for failing to review voters list for the Madhya Pradesh's Assembly constituency, where by-elections were held on February 24, that led to inclusion of over 5,500 dead and 1,900 multiple entries in it.

The move comes following a complaint by the party to the EC on alleged irregularities in the voters list in the constituency.

The Madhya Pradesh's in a recent letter also blamed the district and the district's for the lapse, saying, "There were 1,918 multiple entries and 5,537 dead voters in the voters list during the by-election in in district."
