CEO of SpaceX, Tesla Motors and The Boring Company sent the Twitter world into a frenzy once again as he hinted towards a possibility that a test of the much-anticipated and ‘almost ready’ Hyperloop project will take place soon and it is going to be exciting.
Musk was replying to a video tweeted through the handle World & Science that showed the track of the hyperloop vehicle.

Elon Musk had first discussed the hypeloop idea back in 2013 when he released a document about the idea that said that Hyperloop could transport “people, vehicles, and freight between Los Angeles and San Francisco (613 kilometres) in just 35 minutes. Transporting 7.4 million people each way every year and amortizing the cost of $6 billion over 20 years gives a ticket price of $20 for a one-way trip for the passenger version of Hyperloop.”
Incidentally, the video shot by WARR Hyperloop, was originally tweeted by Elon Musk in 2017.
Musk-led SpaceX organized a Hyperloop pod competition between 2015 and 2018 to demonstrate technical feasibility of the Hyperloop technology and the current announcement seems an outcome of this competition itself.
