COLOMBO (News 1^st) – Holding a media briefing JVP Propaganda Secretary, MP Vijitha Herath commented on the current political situation in Sri Lanka.

He stated that in three years the cabinet has been reshuffled on four occasions and this is just a change of heads.

According to MP Vitjitha Herath, some were given Ministries to please them, some were given Ministries to bring them closer and Some saw a change in subjects because of revenge. As an example, he said that on some occasions “the jungle is given to one minister and the animals come under another”.

MP Vijitha Herath states that if the Ministry of Agriculture was provided scientifically, water, lands, paddy lands and all other relevant subjects must be brought to one single place.

He also commented on a number of other ministries.
