SHERRODSVILLE Three deputies from the Tuscarawas County Sheriff's Office and a police dog, found a 91-year-old man with severe dementia who had wandered away from home Tuesday evening.
Deputies were called to a home in the 9700 block of state Route 39, in Warren Township, at 6:19 p.m. by a woman who said her father-in-law had been missing for more than an hour.
Deputies Brian Hale, Christopher Edwards and David Gerber responded to the home with canine officer Bruno, who began began tracking hard into
the woods. After tracking approximately 50 yards, Bruno gave an alert.
