The Flagler County Horseshoe Pitching Club recently participated in the 2018 Florida State Horseshoe Pitching Association Championship Tournament in Beverly Hills and club members made a good showing.
Members Larry Millen, Steve Hoffman, and Al Meyer each took first place in their respective classes, according to a media release. In addition, members Ed Lindaberry, Lenny Perugini, and Elaine Studnicki each took third place in their classes, while Studnicki and Sandra Egan took third place in women's doubles.
The Flagler County Horseshoe Pitching Club will host the same tournament in mid April, 2019, at the sanctioned horseshoe venue located at Old Dixie Community Park, 1250 Old Dixie Highway, where the club pitches every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
