Viacom Inc. shares were down almost 4% in late trade Wednesday, after a report of a lawsuit alleging that the company covered up a rape by the Paramount chief Brad Grey, who died last year. The suit was brought by Rovier Carrington, who says he's the great-grandson of "Three Stooges" star Moe Howard, The Hollywood Reporter reported. Carrington alleges that Grey raped him in a hotel room at a Golden Globes after-party and that Viacom then called him to ask him to sign a non-disclosure agreement in return for cash. Carrington refused and claims he was eventually persuaded to sign one after another executive got involved. A spokesperson for Viacom told THR, "We take allegations of this sort seriously, and are reviewing the complaint." The suit is seeking $50 million in damages. Viacom shares have fallen 23% in the last 12 months, while the S&P 500 has gained 10%.
