British company launches iTunes of virtual reality for Facebook's Oculus headset

Music lovers can now immerse themselves in a virtual reality concert on demand, thanks to a new app aiming to be the iTunes or Spotify of VR music developed for Facebook's new Oculus headset.

Melody VR, an app from British company EVR Holdings, allows users to jump into live concerts or intimate shows with artists and enjoy the music as if they were there.

The app, which is available on Facebook's new Oculus Go headset, sees users pay to download concert experiences, which they can view in VR and even move their listening experience, moving through "Jump Spots" from the audience, to the front row, or on to the  stage.

Melody VR's first artists include artists such as the Chainsmokers, Rag‘n’Bone...
