Steph Curry: Golden State Warriors ace makes STUNNING impact on injury return
STEPH CURRY has been away for almost six weeks but it didn’t take him long to ease back in for the Golden State Warriors.

After sitting out the first eight minutes of the Warriors’ Western Conference semi-finals Game 2 with the New Orleans Pelicans, Curry exploded inside his first seven minutes on court.
Hitting a three with his first possession, the two-time MVP quickly went five-for-seven to become the first player from either side to surpass 10 points, also adding three rebounds.
His shooting included two-for-three from three-point range, draining one from way downtown with one minute 20 left of the first quarter.
The 30-year-old ended on 28 points, six rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes in his first night back on court.
That was as the Warriors ran out 121-116 winners with only Kevin Durant, on 29, contributing more points than the returning Curry.

Curry received a standing ovation from Oracle Arena on his return to the court having been absent since March 23 with a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee.
It was hoped he would return in Game 1, although it turned out he wasn’t needed as Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson shouldered the burden in a dominant 123-101 win.
This is just the second time he’s ever come off the bench in a post-season game, having started 74 of his previous 76 playoff appearances.
His previous cameo from the bench saw him rack up 40 points, nine rebounds and eight assists as he managed 37 minutes of a win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
That, coincidentally, was also after coming back from a knee sprain in the semi-finals.
Thanks to their Game 2 win, defending NBA champions Golden State take a 2-0 series lead into back-to-back games in New Orleans.
