Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram today said 94 percent villages of the country had been electrified by October 2013, long before NDA government came to power at the Centre.

In a series of tweets, Mr Chidambaram said over 5 lakh 79 thousand villages got electricity before Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister. He said the credit for this goes to all the governments before NDA government.
