WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump said his administration would likely announce “in the next couple of days” a location and date for a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Mr. Trump made the remark in response to a question from a reporter in the Oval Office. A day earlier he had said he was considering Singapore, as well as the demilitarized zone between North and South Korea, as options.
