Police call for witnesses to distressed woman's calls for help

ACT police are calling for anyone who may have seen a distressed woman calling out for help from a silver Holden Commodore SV6 to come forward.

Police said a man of Middle Eastern appearance, with an olive complexion and a slim build, was driving the car throughout the territory between 8.30am and 10.30am on Sunday.

Witnesses may have seen a distressed female passenger calling out for help, police said.

Anyone who has information or dashcam footage that may help police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
