Jon Edwin Williams, 63, of Norfolk, Va., died on Friday, April 27, 2018, at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Roanoke, he was the son of Andy Williams and the late Ruth Anne Williams. Jon graduated from E.C. Glass High School and attended both Virginia Tech and Old Dominion University. He was a professional engineer for Clark-Nexen, a career that spanned 34 years. In addition to his father, Andy, he is survived by his brother, Stephen and Stephen's wife, Susan, and is loved by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at Fort Hill United Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at 2 p.m. A reception for family and friends will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
