Meghan Markle latest: Holly Willoughby stunned by Royal Wedding announcement 'How mad!'
MEGHAN MARKLE will marry Prince Harry on May 19 and ahead of their nuptials, which will be watched by millions of people across the world and This Morning’s Holly Willoughby was left stunned by the latest news about the royal wedding.
Ahead of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding later this month, a commemorative coin has been created to honour their nuptials.
On This Morning today, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield inspected the coin as excitement builds for the royal event.
Holly was left stunned by the silver item, which has both Meghan and Harry’s face on the front.
Holding the coin, she exclaimed: “How mad is that?”
She held it up to the camera so viewers at home could inspect the coin before gushing over the couple’s relationship.
“How sweet!” the mother-of-three told co-host Phillip.
Phillip was just as taken aback by the coin, noting: “Did she ever think she would be on a coin?”
“It’s just mind-blowing” Holly continued.
“It’s the stuff of fairytales.”
The pair went on to inspect a coin which was specially made to commemorate Queen Victoria’s wedding, which is now worth around £400.

The commemorative £5 coin for Meghan and Harry’s wedding comes in a variety of metals.
Anne Jessop from the Royal Mint previously confirmed: “The gold proof going costs £1,980, the silver is priced at £82.50 and the polished copper and nickel is £13.00.”
The segment came after the This Morning presenters spoke to Charlie Gard’s parents.
They sent a message to Alfie Evans parents following the tot’s death last week.
Chris Gard said: “No one will be in as more pain than them at the moment.

“From a personal experience, I can get very angry at the world and life.
“For me it’s pride. I imagine Tom feels the same, it’s pride.
“Our little boy touched the hearts of people around the world, like Alfie did.”
He added: “Just be proud of your boy."
