Justify, a 3-year old colt who won the Santa Anita Derby in April, was installed Tuesday as the 3-1 morning-line favorite for the 2018 Kentucky Derby. Justify drew the No. 7 post when entries were drawn Tuesday. The Derby will be run Saturday at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky. Post time is approximately 6:45 p.m. Eastern. Mendelssohn, winner of the UAE Derby in Dubai, was made the second choice at 5-1, with Magnum Moon, the Arkansas Derby winner, right behind at 6-1. Good Magic, the 2-year-old champion by virtue of his win in the Breeders Cup Juvenile race in November, was 12-1 in the early line.
