The Haryanagovernment has constituted the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority(GDMA) as the Regional Transport Authoritywithin its jurisdiction.
The GDMA will exercise the powers and discharge the duties to specify the routes and areas for the issuance or grant of state carriage permits, deciding and issuance of time table, working hours of the crew, and parking places with respect to city Bus Servicesoperated by the Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited, an Official Spokesmansaid.
A notification has been issued in this regard by the Transport Department, he said.
