Two robberies were reported recently to the Columbus Division of Police.

A woman told police at 9:03 p.m. April 22 in the first block of East Mithoff Street, she was accosted by a suspect who asked her directions to a restaurant in the area.

The victim told police that as she was providing directions, the suspect pulled her from her vehicle, threw her to the ground and kicked her as she was on the ground.

The victim said the suspect then grabbed her keys, took off the car key and stole her $24,000 Ford Escape, manufacturing date unknown.

In the other incident, a man told police at 4:47 a.m. April 21 in the 1300 block of South Fifth Street, a someone threatened to strike him with a metal object if the man didn't give the would-be assailant his wallet.

According to reports the man did not turn over his belongings and the robber left.

* At 5:30 p.m. April 20, police responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of East Gates Street.

Someone involved in the skirmish had caused $500 worth of damage to the front door of the residence.

* A woman said she sustained injuries when she was shot at by an unknown person at 7:22 p.m. April 23 in the 1400 block of Parsons Avenue.

An unidentified male driving an older model green truck fired a shot at her, according to the victim's statement.

She said she was not involved in any dispute and was not sure if the shot was intentional. The victim sustained minor injuries to her foot and to her neck. A Columbus Division of Fire emergency medical services vehicle transported her to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.

* At 1:04 a.m. April 24, someone broke the entry door of a business in the 1400 block of Parsons Avenue, causing $200.
