WASHINGTON—The six-week trial over AT&T Inc.’s planned acquisition of Time Warner Inc. ended Monday, and a ruling will be announced on June 12. Here is the range of possible outcomes.

How AT&T could win

AT&T and Time Warner have two paths to full victory. The first is straightforward: U.S. District Judge Richard Leon could find that the proposed $85 billion deal is unlikely to lead to higher prices or reduced options for consumers.
