Institute of Cost Accountants holds annual day

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Bhubaneswar Chapter, celebrated its annual day here on Sunday.

Chief guest Bhubaneswar North MLA Priyadarshi Mishra inaugurated the programme in the presence of former Institute of Cost Accountants of India president Manas Kumar Thakur, taxation committee chairman Niranjan Mishra and Institute of Cost Accountants of India-Eastern India Regional Council member Shiba Prasad Padhi.

Meritorious students of the chapter were awarded for their performances in the December 2017 examination at the all-India level. Gyana Ranjan Sahoo was awarded Young CMA Award for completing the final course at the age of 21. Besides, 305 final-qualified students were also awarded for the 2017 term examination.

To mark the occasion, the organisation in association with the Commissionerate Police Bhubaneswar-Cuttack and the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Friends organised a mega blood donation camp. More than 100 units of blood were collected.

Among others, Commissionerate Police ACP Laitendu Mohanty, Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Friends member Mamta Padhi, chapter Chairman Uttam Kumar Nayak and Vice-Chairman Damodar Mishra were present.
