Annual event held last Friday

Augusta Elementary students have participated in the Relay Recess program for 13 years.  The students help fight cancer through fundraising activities throughout the year.  
Last Friday’s Recess also provides a fun day outside the classroom.  
Before the relay games began for the students, cancer survivors were honored and participated in the Survivors Walk.
Teams from each school carried banners and walked the track behind the survivors.
The survivors who attend each year know that it’s important the students realize that they can make a difference.
