Venkaiah Naidu enquires about ridership, alternative revenue sources

Shortly after taking a morning walk in Subhash Bose Park, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on Monday took a surprise ride in Kochi metro from Maharaja’s College ground station at 10.30 a.m. to Edappally and back.

He interacted with passengers in the train, including children and youths, and enquired about the comfort and facilities in the metro.

Mr. Naidu was accompanied on his metro journey on Monday by Mathew T. Thomas, Minister for Water Resources; DGP Lokanath Behera; District Collector K. Mohammed Y. Safirulla; Kochi Range IG Vijay Sakhare; and City Police Commissioner M.P. Dinesh.
