C-DAC to provide tech to Centurion varsity

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), a scientific society of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India, announced its partnership with Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha (CUTM) to offer to deploy PARAM Shavak–VR Super Computers at the Centurion University.

The collaboration would involve PARAM Supercomputer Learning andResearch Lab for Applied and Blended Learning, VR/ AR IntegratedLearning Lab with an overarching Linkage to ‘Make in India’ and’Startup India’. To uplift technical skill development of students,Centurion University has launched its Industry relevant PG Diploma Courses, ACCEPT (Academic Centre of Excellence in PLM Technologies) programme. Through this partnership C-DAC would serve as a technology partner for the ACCEPT programme to offer world leading supercomputers and labs at the centre, for teaching students. ACCEPT will use super computers and labs for digital literacy to address the skill gap in higher technical education as well as for the PG Diploma.
