MASH reunion: Loretta Swit, 80, looks glamorous as she reunites with co-star Jamie Farr
LORETTA SWIT showed off her age-defying beauty when she stepped out at the Daytime Emmys yesterday with her M*A*S*H co-star Jamie Farr.
Loretta, 80, was one of the most famous faces on the box in the 1970s and 80s playing nurse Holihan in M*A*S*H.
The star became a sex symbol across the world for her role in the successful TV series.
And the actress looked as glamorous as ever as she opted for an emerald gown at the awards ceremony in California yesterday.
Loretta turned heads as she sauntered down the red carpet in the statement dress which skimmed the floor.
The number flaunted the star’s décolletage as the sleeves fell off her shoulders.
The star wore her hair in a sleek bob and accessorised with a dazzling necklace plus a silver bangle.
Loretta was joined by her co-star Jamie who played Corporal Maxwell Q. Klinger.
Jamie, 83, opted for a very dapper black suit for the Daytime Emmys.
The pair looked incredible as they posed for photographers holding hands before heading inside to present an award.
M*A*S*H followed a team of US doctors and nurses at a fictional army hospital during the Korean war.

Margaret and I were as different as could be
The series, which was a spin-off from the film of the same name, ran from 1972 to 1983.
The show’s finale even drew in a world record audience of 121 million viewers.
Three decades on after the last episode, Loretta spoke about how different she was to the character which made her a global star.
She told Express.co.uk in 2016: “Margaret and I were as different as could be. Margaret wanted a home and family.
“I must admit, I never did. What I had in common was Margaret’s ambition, strength, and feminism.”

But the veteran star admitted becoming an actress was always on the horizon for her.
“My first thought in life was wanting to be an actor,” she said. "I was in ballet slippers and on pointe as soon as I could walk.
“I always wanted to be an actress, not a mother or housewife. I remember one boyfriend telling me: ‘I’m wasting my time here – I want to get married, and clearly you don’t.’ I don’t feel that I was equipped to do that.”
When she spoke about the ageing process, Loretta, who was approaching 80 at the time of interview said she feels “ageless”.
She spilled: “I feel ageless. I’m 78 but I don’t know what that means. You’re as young as you feel.”
