Durfee High volleyball climbed two matches above .500 by battling past host Quincy 3-2 (25-10, 16-25, 25-21, 19-25, 15-8) on Monday.

"A very good win," Hilltopper coach Brendan Kelly said after his crew upped its record to 7-5.

Cam Branco helped orchestrate the victory with a season-high 48 assists. He had plenty of hitters who were ready, willing and able to join the party.

Joseph Camara put down a season-high 23 kills. Nilin Nehra finished with 16 kills, Danny Keyes with eight and Nick Cardoso eight. Nelson DeCarvalho came through with four kills and four blocks.

Senior James Rebello, a first-year player, and Thomas Michael were standouts with back-row defense.
