Unlike most of his contemporaries who are addicted to social media and like to update their fans about work, and sometimes their personal life, too, actor Vivian Dsena prefers to lie low on the medium. The actor, known for shows like Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, shares that he is not comfortable posting about every new development in his life.

“I don’t believe in being very active on social media. I’m not really a social person. I don’t like to tell what I’ll have for lunch or what I had for breakfast. I’m very private that way,” says Dsena, who made his acting debut with Kasamh Se, and has been seen on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Elaborating his point of view, the actor adds, “There are people who love the attention they get when it comes to social media. It depends on their choice and I completely understand that. If someone loves attention, they will like to post what they are doing and they get appreciated. But I am not like that.”

Vivian doesn’t agree with the common perception that if one isn’t [active] on social media, they are missing out on a lot, either. “As far as talent is concerned, I don’t think being on social media makes any difference. A lot of actors have a lot of followers on social media, but that does not define the kind or amount of work they are doing. Social media doesn’t make you a star, your work does,” he says, adding, however, being a dedicated football fanatic, he follows footballers such as former French national Lionel Mathis and Swede Zlatan Ibrahimović.
