Police seeking man after violent assault outside Canberra strip club
ACT Policing are seeking witnesses to an alleged assault outside a Canberra strip club in March.
The alleged incident occured on Saturday, March 3 around 12.25am outside the Capital Men's Club on Gladstone Street, Fyshwick, police said.
During the incident the offender allegedly tried to hit another man with a baseball bat, before punching him twice in the head.
Police said the offender had a slim build, was 183 centimetres tall, with an olive complexion and brown eyes.
He was wearing a black and grey long sleeve t-shirt, dark pants and white Nike shoes, police said.
Police are looking to speak to a man and a woman who witnessed the assault.
The woman was of Caucasian appearance, believed to be 40 to 50 years old, with shoulder-length brown hair, police said.
She was wearing a silver or grey dress and also wore glasses.
The male witness intervened to grab the baseball bat off the alleged offender.
He has been described as having dark hair in a bun, with a solid build and a tattoo on the upper part of his left arm.
