Lucknow: ‘Bada Mangal’ is an auspicious festival of Hindus devoted to the Deity Lord Hanuman. It is an occasion celebrated only in Lucknow since last 400 years.
People from all over the country visit Lucknow during Bada Mangal to seek the blessings of Lord Hanuman.

About ten thousands devotees each year visit ‘Hanuman Mandir’ during Bada Mangal.
On this day, many people, shopkeepers and offices organise bhandaras and offer unlimited sherbets, foods, snacks, water, etc.
