The vehicle is considered an elongated version of the sub-4 metre TUV300, thanks to the addition of a proper third row of seats.
It's no secret that Mahindra will soon launch the TUV300 Plus, but images that have been leaked online have already given a fair idea of what the car will pack overall.
Essentially, the TUV300 Plus is considered an elongated version of the sub-4 metre TUV300, thanks to the addition of a proper third row of seats. Most of the design elements remain the same as the TUV300 except for minor tweaks to the headlamp and tail lights.
The leaked brochure of the 9-seater indicates that the car will be powered by a 2.2 litre mHawk diesel engine churning out 120 PS @ 4,000 rpm and 280 Nm @ 2,800 rpm and will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Plus will be available in the mid-level P4 trim as of now and will come equipped with features like tilt adjustable power steering, internally adjustable ORVMs, front and rear power windows, central locking, manual air conditioner and two 12V charging points. Safety features like airbags and ABS seem to have been skipped in this model.
Considering the TUV300 Plus will come as a replacement for the Rs 8.84 lakh priced Mahindra Xylo, expect the Plus to be priced somewhere in the same range.
