Burst water main, lane closures in Brisbane CBD

A burst water main in Brisbane’s CBD is causing a headache for motorists on Monday morning.

The water main burst at George Street between Mary and Margaret streets about 6am, according to the Queensland Traffic Metro.

One lane in George Street was closed, causing traffic delays.

Meanwhile, a lane closure at the end of the Margaret Street off-ramp from the Riverside Expressway was banking traffic back to Dutton Park along the M3.
