IPL’s stars

One needs to compliment Shreyas Iyer who was fast-tracked to the helm of Delhi Daredevils, and then led his team from the word go to topple the much fancied Kolkata Knight Riders in Friday’s match in New Delhi (‘Sport’ page – “Scintillating Shreyas helms DD’s win”, April 28). When he was elevated, many of us had our reservations. But, though young, he has proved that he is capable of handling pressure. One hopes that he bags a place in the Indian team. Another rising star is Prithvi Shaw.
