Fortnite Season 4 update: Final new skin reveal, Dusty Depot comet, Battle Pass rewards

Fortnite Season 4 is about to begin, as meteors crash into the Battle Royale map.

Epic Games is yet to reveal the Season 4 start date and time, choosing instead to hype the release with a series of superhero skin reveals.

Four different teasers have been posted on Twitter, each with a new DC-inspired superhero.

The first Season 4 teaser told fans to "battle, attack and win", while the second urged fans to "fight with honour".

A third superhero skin encouraged players to "check every corner, box and bush", followed by a fourth teaser with the tagline: "Leave your mark."

There's still room for a fifth and final Fortnite Season 4 skin, which could go live later today.

It could coincide with the rumoured comet strike, which is now believed to be heading for Dusty Depot in time for the end of Season 3.

That's according to a new post on Reddit, which claims that Epic has wanted to update Dusty Depot for a long time.

Likewise, the post suggests that the comet strike will usher in a new and evolving Fortnite Battle Royale map.

The map will reportedly be updated on a weekly basis, presumably with the regular update. Epic is said to have been disappointed with the way Tilted Towers was introduced with no fanfare. 

Moisty Mire is also believed to be on the way out, but not until the end of Season 4.

In addition to map updates and superhero skins, dataminers have discovered fresh evidence of skydiving trails and more.

This includes a pyjama skin, red shirt, pizza and more. It's likely some will be available as Season 4 Battle Pass rewards.

Perhaps most exciting of all is the new toilet paper trail skydiving effect, which is sure to prove popular with players.

With update 4.0 confirmed to launch this week, it's an exciting time to be a Fortnite fan.
