For the second time in less than a week, someone has been robbed after winning money at a Saskatchewan Video Lottery Terminal (VLT).
According to Prince Albert police, a woman in the city was robbed at knife point at a business on 2900 2nd Avenue W. after winning a large amount of cash from a VLT machine.
Police say the suspect followed her outside, threatened her with a knife and then stole her purse.
The suspect was found later that night in a bar, but fled the establishment when police arrived.
Police say he was eventually found hiding in a bush, but the purse has not been found.
According to police, the suspect was uncooperative and spit on an officer while he was being processed at the police station.
The 29-year-old man is facing numerous charges relating to the incident.
