A homicide investigation was underway on Palm Avenue in North Fort Myers after Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report of a stabbing Sunday morning.
Deputies arrived at the home shortly before 4:30 a.m. and found a man dead.
The Major Crimes Unit has assumed this investigation and positive identification and next of kin notification are both pending.
