Seen in a file photo, the historic building at 616 7th Street will be the location of Hook & Ladder Wine and Coffee Company. It was built in 1884 and is the oldest brick building in Wichita Falls. Up to $16,000 in 4B funds were approved for the business to upgrade plumbing and electrical systems. It is expected to be open in March 2018.

Half Pint Taproom & Restoration Hall owners Cynthia Doten, left, and Dent Keltner prepare the bar area for their grand opening. Doten at Keltner said this grand opening has been five-years in the works.
Keltner said the purchased the building five-years-ago and cannot believe how far they have come. Doten said the business will feature several adult beverages as well a brick pizza oven. Half Pint Taproom & Restoration Hall is located downtown Wichita Falls at 817 Ohio Ave.
