Audio of Rajini’s Kaala to be released on May 9

Fans of actor Rajinikanth eagerly awaiting the release of Kaala have a reason to cheer. The makers of the movie have announced that the audio will be released on May 9.

Music director Santosh Narayanan, who tweeted the date, said, “We want to make you all a part of the album and will have some very special announcements to be made very shortly.”

The composer had earlier reached out to fans on the social media site, asking them for their choice of genre for the title song.

Also starring Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil and Nana Patekar, the movie traces the life of a don in Mumbai’s Dharavi.

Satellite rights finalised

Wunderbar films, the production house behind the flick, announced a few days ago that the satellite rights of the movie in all languages had been bagged by Star Network.

Krishnan Kutty, general manager of Vijay TV, said the channel was proud to be associated with the movie. “We, along with the people of Tamil Nadu, are excited and are in great anticipation for the movie release,” he said.

Directed by Pa. Ranjith, the movie is scheduled for release on June 7.
