Actress Andrea will be seen playing a wildlife photographer in her upcoming crime thriller film Kaa. Touted to be a film which is set in one day, Salim Ghouse of Vetri Vizha and Vettaikaaran fame plays a pivotal role in Kaa.

To be directed by newcomer Nanjil, the film will be shot in Andaman Nicobar Islands, Western Ghats, and Jharkhand. Amresh Ganesh of Motta Siva Ketta Siva and Bhaskar Oru Rascal fame is composing the background score of Kaa.

Besides Kaa, Andrea has Vetri Maaran’s gangster trilogy Vada Chennai with Dhanush and Kamal Haasan’s spy thriller Vishwaroopam 2 gearing up for release. The actress is said to have lost a few kilos for her character in Kaa and she will start shooting for the film from next month. The formal pooja of Kaa was held on Sunday in Chennai with the presence of the entire cast and crew.

“It’s been a long wait, but my new film #ka is finally going on floors it’s definitely WAY out of my comfort zone, but what’s life if you don’t constantly try to reinvent yourself,” tweeted Andrea.
