A 15-year-old Palestinian boy in Gaza succumbed on Saturday morning to critical wounds he sustained by Israeli live fire during the fifth week of Gaza’s “Great March of Return” protests on Friday.
Medical sources at the European Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis confirmed that Azzam Hilal Uweida, 15, succumbed to his wounds on Saturday morning.
Sources added that Uweida was shot in the head by Israeli forces.
The Gaza Ministry of Health said that Uweida is the 44th Palestinian to be killed by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip since March 30th, when the massive nonviolent demonstrations began.
