THE CHEAPEST city breaks in Europe have recently been revealed when it comes to getting the best price when it comes to accommodation and spending money.

City break holidays are a great option for travelling Britons who want a quick jaunt across the ocean.
Europe offers a number of beautiful cities to explore that can easily be seen in a couple of days.
Yet the quick trip abroad can sometimes come at a price with tourist destinations in France and Spain being some of the most expensive in Europe.
Annual European Backpacker Index has analysed prices of accommodation, transport, attractions and food and drink to find which city in Europe offers the best price.
Amazingly, some come in at less than £20 a day.

The cheapest city to visit in 2018 was estimated to be Kiev in Ukraine for just £18 a day, according to the research.
This was closely followed by Krakow in Poland for just £20 a day, and then Belgrade in Serbia for £21 a day.
Bucharest in Romania was close behind with £22, followed by Sofia in Bulgaria for £23 a day.
Eastern European countries continue to offer the best prices, with many not using euros.
This means that Britons can get more for their money by avoiding the euro.

The Post Office Travel Money’s 2018 Cost Barometer agreed, finding Poland, Lithuania and Riga also coming in as some of the cheapest destinations.
Scandinavian countries are often known for being rather expensive and once to avoid when looking for a cheap break away.
Britons may be fearing that their holidays will cost more in Europe once the UK leaves the EU.
A recent announcement suggested that British travellers could be forced to pay £6 every time they enter a European country as a new visa.
The pound has also fallen, with £300 of holiday money getting £50 less since the vote.

For Britons wanting to find the cheapest holiday package for 2018, TravelSupermarket has revealed the best options out of 105 short haul locations.
Many popular destinations in Spain, such as Costa Brava and Costa Blanca were under £250 for a seven-night stay including flights.
Turkey and Greece also made the cut for being cheapest, costing under £200 for the same deals.
Whilst Turkey has struggled with tourism following a number of terrorist attacks in the country, it has since seen an increase in visitors.
British holidaymakers seeking a bargain are best to head there for a cheap break.
