Rangers news: Steven Gerrard definitely having second thoughts after Celtic loss - Boyd
STEVEN GERRARD will definitely be having second thoughts about taking the Rangers job after watching their demolition by Celtic today.
That is the opinion of Kilmarnock striker and former Rangers hero Kris Boyd.
Celtic beat the Gers 5-0 at Celtic Park to land their seventh consecutive SPL title.

Ahead of the match, Liverpool legend Gerrard was heavily linked with the job that is set to be vacated by Graeme Murty at the end of the season.
But Boyd thinks today’s showing may make him think again.

I think he will definitely be having second thoughts, there’s no doubt about it
“I think he will definitely be having second thoughts, there’s no doubt about it,” he said on Sky Sports.
“You can sit here and blame the excuse of a lack of funds in terms of getting towards Celtic.
“If that is the case then they should be way ahead of Aberdeen, they should be way ahead of Hibs, way ahead of Kilmarnock.
“When you look at the money Rangers have spent in comparison to them, there’s nobody else who are signing players for a £1m plus.

“So it’s very, very disappointing from a Rangers point of view.”
Former Celtic midfielder Kris Commons also believes Gerrard may not think the Rangers job is right for his first step into management.
“Steven Gerrard, if you’re at home now watching these pictures and watching that performance, I’m not sure you’ll be thinking ‘this might be right for me’,” Commons said.
