In case it wasn't already clear from the cast's social media shares of late, Stranger Things' third season is officially underway.

Netflix released a hype video showing the cast and filmmakers' first table read, with the Duffer Brothers joining up with their original actors and newcomers Maya Hawke, Jake Busey, and incoming Hawkins Indiana mayor Cary Elwes before the scene turns -- you guessed it -- upside down.

Despite some frame-by-frame freezing of those episode scripts (we tried, promise!), there's little else to be learned from the video -- well, except that Barb and Bob are still definitely dunzo, R.I.P. -- but the tone of togetherness shared by all the talent on board for the new run is still definitely evident. Oh, and Millie Bobby Brown might have longer hair this time.

and so it begins 🤭 #strangerthingsseason3

According to the video, production on the third season officially launched on April 20th, which means we're well on our way back to the monster-riddled town that started it all.

Stranger Things Season 3 is expected to premiere in 2019.
