Chardon School District plans ‘walk-thrus’ for two schools set to close

The public is invited to help bid a fond farewell to two elementary schools in the Chardon School District that have served generations of children.

A community walk-through is scheduled for May 5 at Maple and Hambden elementary schools. From 9 to 11 a.m. the two schools will open their doors to the community for a final “Walk-Thru” before both schools close at the end of May.

Maple Elementary is located at 308 Maple Ave. in Chardon and Hambden Elementary is located at 13871 GAR Highway.
