BJP leaders likely to caution Tripura CM Biplab Deb over recent remarks during his Delhi visit

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb will be arriving in Delhi during the first week of May to attend various meetings.
It is also alleged that top leadership in the BJP are unhappy with Biplab Deb's recent remarks. A BJP leader from Assam also claimed that Biplab Deb has been summoned to Delhi by PM Narendra Modi and party chief Amit Shah because of his remarks.
Tripura CM Biplab Deb will reach Delhi on May 1 and will attend a programme on Gram Swaraj at Rashtrapati Bhavan. All Chief Ministers have been invited for the event.
Biplab Deb will also meet with various Union Ministers over the next few days and discuss issues of development of the state. He will also be attending a meeting with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on May 3.
Biplab Deb's recent comments sparked a lot of controversy. Deb said satellite communication existed during the Mahabharata era. Not stopping at that, Biplab Deb also questioned the crowning of Diana Hayden as Miss World in 1997.
Recently, Biplab Deb said that youth should set up paan shops instead of running after government jobs. He also said that mechanical engineers should not opt for civil engineering, but civil engineers should.
